The day after tomorrow will be December already and 2019 is almost at an end. Which means . . . . ? It's time for the Narita Airport Christmas Festival!!
Here is a quick peek at some of the main points exclusively for our readers.
Point 1: A Christmas costume could earn you a discount!
The best way to make the most of the Christmas Festival is to make your fashion shout Christmas!
If you plan on coming in Christmas costume, drop in at the information center inside the venue and you will receive complimentary gift to add to your Christmas cheer!
Point 2: Very popular raffles with great prizes!!
The Christmas Festival raffles are popular every year and this year will be no different. A chance to get some great Christmas gifts, including air tickets to Hawaii, aviation goods, coupons for a hotel stay in a junior suite and specialty products from around Narita Airport. You must not miss it.
Point 3: Balloon art by a real pro!!
Balloon art is a big favorite with the kids. This year's Christmas Festival will feature a balloon performance by a real pro!
See balloon art appear right before your eyes and even take part. There will also be parades inside the passenger terminals for kids.
Colorful balloons will add excitement to the Festival venue and the airport.
Point 4: A variety of performances!!
It promises to be an exciting Christmas event with Kumiko Shimizu, widely touted as the next big thing in new singers, performing live on stage as well as a well-known DJ from Tokyo's club circuit playing Santa. There will also be recitals and performances by groups from around the airport which will also be worth a look.
There is also a lot more enjoyment in store with food stalls with some great gourmet delicacies and a tree illumination ceremony to brighten the Christmas mood.
Incidentally, Terminals 1 and 2 will be decorated in keeping with the Christmas season.

Cashmere Knitwear Pop-up Shop, GOBI, opens on 4th Floor of Terminal 2
GOBI is a pop-up shop handling cashmere knitwear. GOBI was very popular last year and has opened again this year from Wednesday, 6 November on the 4th floor of Terminal 2.

What's new
SKYMARK launched new services to Saipan and Nagoya on 29 November.
Saipan is a year-round summer resort with crystal clear seas and white sandy beaches. Just three and a half hours from Narita and only one hour‘s time difference, it is a great place for families to take small children. As well as marine sports, there are plenty of other activities including golf and cycling and beach barbeques in the evening watching the sun go down. This is the only direct service from Japan to Saipan and it is SKYMARK' first international service.
SKYMARK' new Saipan and Nagoya routes provide two more reasons to take advantage of Narita Airport's extensive network of destinations.

AirAsia X Launched a New Service to Kuala Lumpur on 20 November!
Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia is a metropolis prospering as an economic center of South East Asia where travelers can enjoy it's breath taking city view composed of the past and the modern. In Kuala Lumpur, visitors can enjoy strolling energetic streets with variety of local gourmet, while the modern land mark architecture Petronas Twin Tower catches eyes.

Air China Added Flights to Beijing Route from 2 November!
Beijing is not only the political heart of China, it is also full of tourism resources. The Imperial Palace Museum which houses 1.5 million cultural assets and the Summer Palace are two famous historical World Heritage locations but the "Bird's Nest" stadium build for the 2008 Olympics is also a popular tourist spot.
In additional to the additional Beijing services, Air China international increase flights to Chengdu from 4 November and commence a direct Chongqing service on 24 November.
Take advantage of Narita Airport's convenient destination network, now made even better by Air China.
