Greetings from the Narita Airport email newsletter editorial office.
The heat has eased off and autumn gives us a more pleasant season to enjoy. Relaxed border restrictions also came into place this month and there are more and more destinations that we can visit, so many people are probably planning their first trip abroad in a long time. Available to Everyone. Narita Airport Lounge Profile
When you hear of airport lounges, the first thing that probably comes to mind for many people would be airline or credit card lounges. But if you need somewhere to relax before you depart but are not traveling first or business class . . . . . . No problem! Narita Airport has pay lounges that are open to everyone!
Our focus in this issue is on three points that support our recommendation of Narita TraveLounge for passengers departing from Terminal 1 at Narita Airport. This is worth reading for those with overseas travel plans and even those who have no plans as yet to use Terminal 1.
Point 1: Open to everyone!
Narita TraveLounge is available to everyone at a cost of 1,220 yen for adults (12 and over) or 610 yen for children (6 to 11) and offers a comfortable environment for passengers with long waiting times between connecting flights as well as other passengers waiting for their departure.

The lounge is divided into purpose-specific zones with sofas for relaxation and chairs in the work area. Seats have built-in charging ports so passengers can sit back and relax until departure time.
There is no time limit for lounge use during opening hours so passengers can enter and leave freely.

Point 2: Outstanding location
As you enter the lounge, there is a large glass window in front of you. Beyond that, you see parked aircraft (on this particular day, it was an Etihad plane) and have a great view of the runway. It was around one in the afternoon when I visited, and it was so pleasant with the sunlight filtering in.
At night, the taxiway and runway lights offer a beautiful illumination display. You relax with the sight of aircraft taking off and landing right in front of your eyes.

Point 3: Great food menu!
There is also a corner with an extensive selection of food and beverages. The food menu is updated twice a year with lots of selections in a summer and a winter menu. Customer usage trends and preferences as well as lounge staff recommendations play a part in deciding the seasonality of the food. When deciding menus, the selections are actually cooked and served in simulated exercises to see how quickly the food can be prepared and served, and tasting sessions are held so that staff can examine menu items that they can recommend to passengers.

In an effort to achieve sustainability, lounge staff are conscious of the need to minimize food loss and give careful consideration to the quantity of menu items on offer based on the number of customers per day.
* Food orders attract an additional charge.
